Well here are my last weeks life drawings and recent stuff like the colored fighter which is called Ray because thats what Darry, Muz and other 2nd yr ppl said looked like lol. This Character is Darry's, i just just colored his line art. Hope ya dig lol. Also a creature concept sketch, thought it be cool if it was all rocky, land type creature with a castle or so attached on its back and do you see the tiny kid in that picture.... the kid is actually offering a apple to the creature haha ! i guess the whole thing with the tiny kid offering a apple to that big giant creates some kind of atmosphere lol. still life study: wacom mouse

okay last week i did a whole bunch of life drawings except for two days bc of dota and sleep haha.. Friday was fun because me and few others just played dota the entire day and skipped the 2 -5 pm life drawing session. Didn't bother me lol ... since i already did full 6 hr life previous days. Anyways..i wont be able to post those life drawings becasue i haven't taken any pictures of them BUT ! i did a still life painting study of my wacom mouse with a few details missing like a button on the right and the label that says wacom which wasn't the point of this study. Details = leave for last.. So first i started with a sketch , then blocking in shapes with a little bit of blend and final stage i just rendered. I tried my best .. c+c welcome.

Animation 1st semester is done

Well lets see after this semester i learned i still got a long way to go and need to improve on my character design drastically, lol i got like 60% on these 3 character model sheets. But on other subjects i been up there and doing good, life drawing is probably my strongest right now. So during this break i said to myself that i would draw and draw to make improvements in my character design and practice digital painting.

I posted character designs ( final assignment), layout assignments which i found okay enough to post , cafe sketches ( i improved a lot in cafe sketching in my opinion in comparison to my very first / earlier cafe sketches), random/ concept sketches, still life painting study of my apple juice box because i love apple lol and finally life drawings, skele studies and compiled some of my life drawings which i also did during the first semester, i don't really know how much improvements i made here but i do know my bones a lot better than i did before.

Lets see .. in this past week i started a bit gaming when im bored or feel like doing something else other than drawing ... starcraft, halo, unreal tournament 3, Dota ( warcraft mini game) and Kart Rider !! ( sooo fun ! ) . In the summer i used to play the Chinese version Kart rider with a fren bc i couldn't wait for the english version to release but the English version is out now ..well been out for weeks now BUT ! i just recently started playing it again ... its not like a mmo where it drives u to play for it hrs and hrs. Few pics of kart rider, including the one of me playing in Chinese version. My in game name on the English version of Kart rider is KageEx, i play during friday and weekend nights most of the time. "Most of my classmates play Kart Rider, and I want to look cool in the game, says 9-year-old Park Kun Hee " This kid spent like $150 on just those in game digital items and then later got busted by his dad lol. The Coca-Cola Co. (KO ) even sponsors Kart rider with their Tournament lol... and offers $50,000 as prize money.

Speaking of new versions, Albatross18 ... the anime golf game which is soon to come out for Wii came out with version 3 for PC. Free ofcourse. English versions and always slow with their updates. I played Albatross18 version 3, Japanese version ... again because i couldn't wait for the English version to come out lol. Its neat because its really different from every other golf game out for consoles or pc, those realistic versions. Some people might find those fun but not me and then i found albatross18 .. which completely made me rethink of golf games as boring games. This game has like crazy special moves sending the golf ball into a freaking missile launched in the air with burning flames around it and if you get hole in one the golf ball explodes on impact with coins showering everywhere around the hole. Some special moves are called Cobra or the Famous Tomahawk lol. Unfortunately i haven't played albatross18 since summer but i am re-considering because the new version came out.
